By hiring MyBrandE for services, you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms describe how we work together, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

Services & Workflow

Our Services
MyBrandE provides web design, logo design, branding materials, business cards, brochures, and SEO services to small businesses. All work is delivered online through email. Services are provided remotely, and communication happens through email.

How Projects Work
When you contact us about a project, we send you a quote. The quote shows what will be created, the cost, and an estimated timeline. Once you accept the quote and pay the initial deposit, work begins.

Communication happens through email. You provide project details, content, and feedback. We send work for your review at agreed stages. You are responsible for providing accurate project information, reviewing work when it’s sent, making payments on time, and ensuring any content you provide is legal and doesn’t belong to someone else.

Payments & Refunds

Payment Terms
All projects require a 25% deposit to begin. The deposit secures your project start date and allows us to begin creating your initial work. Remaining payments are made in parts as work progresses. You review completed sections before paying for the next stage. Final payment is due before finished files are delivered.

Late payments may pause your project. We reserve the right to stop work if payments are not made.

Refund Policy
Your initial deposit is refundable under specific conditions. After you pay the deposit, we create early work and send it for your review. This gives you a chance to see our approach and decide if you want to continue. If you don’t like the direction after reviewing this early work, we will refund your 25% deposit in full.

Once you approve the early work and decide to continue with the project, all payments become non-refundable. This is because work has been completed based on your approval. If you cancel the project after approving early work, you are responsible for paying for all work completed up to the cancellation point.

Ownership & Rights

Ownership and Usage Rights
After full payment is received, you own the final work we created for you. This includes the finished logo, website, design files, or other deliverables specified in your quote. You have full rights to use, modify, and distribute the final work for your business purposes.

We retain the right to display your completed project in our portfolio, on our website, and in marketing materials unless you specifically request otherwise. If you prefer your project not be shown publicly, let us know and we will honour that request.

Source files, working files, mockups, and drafts are not included in standard projects unless specifically agreed upon in your quote. Stock images, fonts, and third-party assets used in your project may have separate licences that govern their use. We will inform you of any licensing requirements for these assets.

Revisions & Timelines

Revisions and Changes
Your quote includes a specific number of revisions. Revisions allow you to request changes to the work we’ve created based on your feedback. The number of included revisions is stated in your quote and varies by service type.

Additional revisions beyond what’s included in your quote may incur extra costs. Changes requested after the project is marked complete and files are delivered may be treated as new work and billed separately. Major changes to the project scope after work has begun may also require additional payment and timeline adjustments.

Project Timelines
Timeline estimates provided in your quote are our best estimate based on the project scope and typical workflows. Timelines are not guarantees. Projects may take longer than estimated if you need additional time to provide feedback or information, if you request changes to the project scope, or if unforeseen complications arise.

We will communicate with you if timeline adjustments are necessary. We aim to complete all projects as efficiently as possible while maintaining quality standards.

Delivery & Cancellation

What We Deliver
We create quality, original work designed specifically for your business. All work is created by our team and is not resold or reused from other projects.

For SEO services, we cannot guarantee specific search rankings, specific increases in traffic, or specific sales numbers. Search engine algorithms change frequently, and rankings are influenced by many factors outside our control. We provide best-practice SEO work focused on improving your visibility, but results vary.

For websites, we cannot guarantee your site will never need updates, will work perfectly with all future browsers and devices, or will never experience technical issues. Technology changes, and periodic maintenance may be required.

Project Cancellation
You can cancel a project at any time. If you cancel before work begins, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel after work has begun, you are responsible for paying for all work completed up to the cancellation point. We will provide an itemised statement of completed work.

We reserve the right to cancel or pause a project if payments are not made on time, if you do not provide information or feedback needed to move forward, or if you breach these terms.

Responsibility & Updates

Our Responsibility
We’re responsible for delivering the work described in your quote to the best of our ability. We’re not responsible for lost business, lost revenue, or other business impacts related to our services. Our total responsibility for any issues is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
